Required and optional information
Fields marked as required are needed to identify the enquiry, understand the basic business context and respond. You are not legally required to provide them, but EnquiryOps cannot arrange the review through the form without them. Other fields are optional. You can instead make a more limited enquiry by email.
No automated decisions
The website does not make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Questionnaire answers are reviewed by a person.
6. How long information is kept
- Enquiries and appointment records that do not become client work are deleted or anonymised 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Temporary IP based rate limit information is held in volatile server memory, is ignored after 10 minutes and is not added to an enquiry record.
- Client and project information is reviewed at the end of the engagement and deleted when it is no longer needed.
- Invoices, tax records and related accounting documents are normally retained for six years where Irish law requires this.
- Information needed for an active dispute, legal claim or regulatory matter may be retained until that matter and the relevant limitation period have ended.
- Hosting and security logs are retained according to the applicable provider terms and are not used by EnquiryOps to build individual marketing profiles.
The retention review applies to the Proton inbox, sent mail, calendar records and any working files created for the enquiry.
7. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent where a specific activity is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Send a request to hello@enquiryops.ie. Enough information may be requested to confirm your identity. A response will be provided without undue delay and normally within one month.
You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. EnquiryOps would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first, but this does not limit your right to contact the Commission.
8. Security and data minimisation
EnquiryOps uses access controls, multifactor authentication, encrypted connections, a protected email delivery credential, input limits, origin checks, spam controls and restricted access to reduce risk. No internet service can promise absolute security. Suspected incidents are assessed, documented and reported where the law requires it.
